Pirate Witch Queen Of Ghosts
The Artwork is provisionally entitled: Asmodaya Pirate Witch Queen Of Ghosts.
The sigil featured on Asmodaya's Jolly Roger is the seal of the 32nd spirit called Asmoday, which is derived from the medieval grimoire, entitled the Goetia.
The heads of the Bull, human Skull and Ram on Asmodaya's pirate flag are also symbolic references to Asmoday.
The Artwork has been featured in my published books.
The Skull and Crossbones originally referred to the altered state of hypnagogic trance, the alchemists called the Nigredo (Black Raven) stage of the Great work.
The Crossbones refers to the 7th Rune of Gebo, looking like an 'X.' The 'X' Rune is associated with the introversion of the sexual impulse into the dream (spirit/ghost world) via hypnagogic trance.
The altered state of hypnagogic trance is otherwise termed as the 'little death,' hence the symbolism of the Skull.
The 'X' Rune (Crossbones) is equivalent to the letter 'G' in the English alphabet and the Hebrew letter Gimel.
The Skull and Crossbones, and the letter 'G' is utilised in Freemasonary, many a Brethren of the coast Pirate were members of, which is one of the reasons why Haitian/Tortuga Voodoo uses the symbolism of Freemsonary.
